Founded in Yorkshire in 1981, C&B’s idea was to create jams and preserves that felt homemade but better and with a little dash of luxury. For instance their salted caramel fudge is extra buttery, extra creamy and with that sweet and salty flavour to savour.
Beginnings
Cartwright and Butler grew from humble beginnings. They began in a rented room in a spice factory in Beverley, East Yorkshire. It was in this little room that they developed their unique recipes that feel both home-cooked but with that extra bit of indulgence.
As they’ve grown, so has their assortment of accoutrements and today we can treat you to an eye-popping range of luxury foods all made and beautifully packaged in the UK.
Beginnings
C&B carefully constructs their recipes and flavours – their minute attention to detail is what makes them a perfect match for our teas. We’ve spent hours pairing C&B treats with our delicious range of teas. Yes, it’s a tough job, but someone’s gotta do it.
