Cíara Brimfield
Role: Wellbeing content writer - creating nourishing and healthy content and recipes for our Communi-tea (wellbeing) hub.
Tell us about your background? I’m a wellbeing copywriter, content creator, and qualified yoga teacher. My job combines over ten years of copywriting with a focus on creating healthy and nourishing content. Much of my training has centred around anxiety, depression, women’s health, and further studies on mindfulness, meditation, and journalling as a therapy. I’m a huge believer that we ‘teach best what we most need to learn’, and I’m always looking for ways to support people in their day-to-day, whether through breathing exercises, mindfulness, or simply savouring a cup of tea!
What made you choose your career and what do you love about your job? It combines my love of words and writing with my desire to support people on their journey to healthier minds and bodies. Plus, my second love after writing is tea — it’s the perfect blend.
Tell us a typical day in the life of your role? It’s different every day, but it mainly involves speaking with the marketing and e-commerce team, getting an idea of what areas we’d like to focus on and crafting and curating content that supports. Other days, it’s recipe testing and coming up with new ideas on how people can incorporate the delicious tea blends and infusions into their lifestyle.
What’s your favourite tea? I love the Turmeric Superblends - it's the right amount of sugar and spice! Oh, and a strong cup of Twinings Everyday. It’s the first thing I have when I wake up!
What’s your favourite herb? Camomile, lavender, lemon balm. Anything that calms and soothes the soul.
