Green Tea with Added Benefits

Brew up a fresh pot of Green Tea with added benefits.Twinings Superblends have a variety of Green Teas that include added vitamins and minerals like Vitamin C, Magnesium and Biotin.

If there was a tea that best embodies the tea bush, it would be green tea. Fresh, vibrant and springlike, this tea category showcases some of nature’s greatest gifts. Unlike black tea, green tea leaves aren’t allowed to fully oxidise, meaning they retain their vivid jade colour. Depending on how it’s prepared and where it’s from, green tea will also possess a wide variety of inherent tasting notes, from fruits and vegetables, to nuts and grains. When combined with other ingredients, these natural flavours can be enhanced, mellowed or contrasted, making it an incredibly versatile tea base.

In recent years, we’ve seen a surge in green tea blends. Twinings has a huge range of green teas on offer, including some beautiful premium loose leaf options, and even an indulgent dessert-inspired collection. Green tea is also the main ingredient in four of our Superblends. Here, green tea features alongside added vitamins and minerals to give you a delicious helping hand with your everyday wellbeing. Green Tea with Manganese

Not just one, but two kinds of green tea feature in Twinings Match Superblend. You’ve probably heard of the powdered form of green tea, matcha. With a history spanning thousands of years, matcha still plays an incredibly significant role in Japanese culture. Matcha tea has been finely ground and has an intensely concentrated flavour that is best described as earthy.

By contrast, our green tea leaves have been pan-fired over a wok, lending them more roasted and toasted notes. Together they deliver a balanced green tea blend, uplifted here by zesty lime and juicy cranberry. We’ve also added Maganese, which helps contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism. Each 200ml serving contains 25% of the Nutrient Reference Value for Maganese*. Enjoy one cup of our Matcha Superblend a day as part of a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
