Rooibos from the Cederberg and Olifantsrivier mountains of South Africa's Western Cape is delicious in its own right. But our Master Blenders sought a way of enhancing the sun-dried needle's naturally rich depth of flavour. And they found a delicious one: a hint of caramel flavour. So now we have an indulgent, caffeine-free tea with just the right level of sweetness.

Plant Based Pyramid Bags

These teabags are biodegradable, plant-based teabags and will break down within 6 months if placed into a local authority compost caddy, though it may not compost as quickly if left in garden compost (as typically these are not sufficiently hot.)

Rooibos, Flavouring (2.5%), Safflowers (1%).
How To Serve

We believe that how you make your tea is equally as important as the tea you use, so here's how we like to make our tea.

  • Use one rounded teaspoon per person
  • Use water at a “rolling boil” around 100ºC
  • Pour on and brew for 3 to 4 minutes
  • Enjoy with or without milk.

And, for freshness every time, keep your tea somewhere cool, dark, dry and airtight!
