By entering the promotion, entrants confirm that they have read and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (the “Terms”). These Terms prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Claim instructions are deemed to form part of the Terms and by participating all claimants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the Terms. Please retain a copy for your information.
The Promoter is R. Twining & Co. Ltd, company number 00525071, with registered address at Weston Centre, 10 Grosvenor Street, London, W1K 4QY (the “Promoter”).
The promotion is open to natural persons aged 18+ who reside in the United Kingdom who submit the online form. Even if they meet the above criteria, the following persons are not eligible to enter the promotion: (i) any employee or other individual engaged by the Promoter or any of their respective associated companies; (ii) members of the immediate family and/or household (whether related or not) of
any of those individuals; and (iii) anyone else professionally involved or associated with the operation, promotion or administration of the promotion.
To enter this promotion, you must complete and submit the online
form here . You must provide your name and email address, as well as provide an answer to the question “How does Twinings keep you prepared for whatever comes your way”, to enter the promotion for a chance to win a Prize.
No purchase is necessary, however internet access is required. Limit on entries: Max one entry per person during the Promotion Period.
The promotion opens at 00:01 BST on Wednesday 24th June 2026 and closes at 23:59 BST on Sunday 19th July 2026.
There will be twenty (20) winners who will each receive a Twinings “tea bag bag” and an individually wrapped tea bag sample. The colour of the Twinings “tea bag bag” and the flavour of the individually wrapped tea bag sample sent will both be selected at random, there is no choice available. Images of the Prize are available on the promotional webpage and are representative of the actual Prize; however, the Prize received may vary slightly from the images shown.
The Prize is non-refundable, non-transferable and non-exchangeable and there is no cash alternative offered. The Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
a) The winners will be picked at random using a computer algorithm from all eligible entries received by the end of the Promotion Period.
b) The winners will be contacted by email within seven (7) days of the prize draw. The winners must respond to the message within ten (10) days providing the requested information (being the email or mobile phone number and the postal address to send the Prize to – this must be a UK postal address). In the event that a winner does not respond to the message within the required period, their Prize will be forfeited, and a new winner will be drawn.
c) The Prize will be sent via registered post to the address supplied within two (2) weeks of notification and the winners will be required to sign to acknowledge receipt
Duplicate claims or entries submitted on behalf of another person will not be accepted. Incomplete, illegible, misdirected or late entries will not be accepted. No third party or bulk entries. If it becomes apparent that any party is using any means to circumvent this condition such as, and without limitation, using multiple details to enter, or otherwise acting fraudulently or dishonestly in the opinion of the Promoter or otherwise acting in violation of these Terms, these entrants will be disqualified from any participation in the promotion.
By submitting a promotion entry and any accompanying material, you agree to:
(a) assign absolutely to the Promoter all your intellectual property rights held in the entry with full title guarantee; and
(b) waive absolutely all moral rights, in and to your promotion entry and otherwise arising in connection with your entry to which you may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world.
The Promoter may use, reproduce, publish, adapt and otherwise exploit your entry (in whole or in part), including any text, images or other content submitted as part of your entry, for its future marketing, advertising, promotional and publicity purposes, in any and all media (whether now known or hereafter devised), worldwide, without restriction, additional compensation or further notice to you. Without limiting the foregoing, the Promoter may associate your first name, surname initial and county of residence with your entry when using it for such purposes. By entering the promotion, you acknowledge and agree to such use.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances or circumstances outside its reasonable control, the Promoter reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this promotion without prior notice. In such an event, the Promoter will post a notice on its website.
The Promoter reserves the right to verify Eligibility and ask for proof of identity, age and/or address and to withdraw Prize entitlement where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Terms.
Entrants agree to be bound by the decisions of the Promoter, which are final in all matters relating to the promotion. No correspondence will be entered into in respect of the Promoter’s decisions.
The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, withdraw, terminate or temporarily suspend this promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or technical reason outside its reasonable control, with no liability to any entrants or third parties but will use all reasonable endeavours to avoid consumer disappointment. Such circumstances include, but are not limited to: industrial action, pandemics, civil unrest, fire, flood, storms, earthquakes, acts of terrorism, acts of war, governmental action or any other event that is beyond the control of the Promoter.
Subject to the winner’s rights under applicable data protection legislation, the Promoter shall be entitled to use and feature the names of the Twinings Tea Bag Bag winners for publicity purposes and winners agree that they will participate in any reasonable publicity arranged by the Promoter or its agencies.
Where entrants have provided their consent, the Promoter will use personal data for the purposes of sending direct marketing. You can unsubscribe from email and SMS marketing at any time – further details can be found in the Promoter’s privacy notice.
The Promoter will make winners’ surnames and county of residence available on request to anyone who makes a request to the Promoter within 10 weeks of the end of the Promotion Period, as required by the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising and Direct & Promotional Marketing (the “Code”).
Personal data may also be provided to the Advertising Standards Authority or other competent Authority for the purposes of demonstrating that the promotion was administered fairly or to comply with any court order or other regulatory requirement. You may object to these disclosures by emailing ecommerce@twinings.com but entrants acknowledge that the Promoter may be obliged to disclose personal data in some limited circumstances expressly required by law. The Promoter (or its appointed agents) will not contact you for reasons other than this promotion unless you have provided your express consent.
Nothing in these terms excludes the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or for fraud, or any other liability that the Promoter may not exclude by law. Subject to that, the Promoter and its associated companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits) expense or damage which is suffered or sustained in connection with this promotion or accepting or using any prize, including any loss incurred as a result of any delay and/or failure to perform any obligation to the winner or other entrants that is caused by:
a) technical problems of any kind which may limit or prevent any person's participation in the promotion;
b) any loss or damage arising from or in connection with the allocation or enjoyment of a prize;
c) any act or omission of any third party, particularly any third party involved in the provision of services relevant to the prize; or
d) any other events beyond the Promoter's control that may cause the promotion to be disrupted or corrupted or may lead to loss of, or damage to, the winner or to the prize.
If any of these Terms are found by a court or regulator to be invalid or unenforceable the remaining other provisions shall continue to apply.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and the parties agree that any dispute or action arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
