Our Story

Originally introduced as Ovaltine Choc a Mint, the range was expanded shortly after launch in 1986 to include a number of delicious flavours and became known as the Ovaltine Chocolate Collection. It was in 1990 when the Options brand name was first launched. We wanted to create tasty hot chocolate drinks that could be enjoyed without the calories.

Since its launch in 1990, Options hot chocolate has been loved, trusted and enjoyed by millions of us. We love it because it delivers a great tasting, low calorie treat whenever we want it. No wonder it’s the UK’s number 1 instant hot chocolate brand.
