Ingredients
For the Jasmine Syrup
1 Cup · Cane Sugar
2 Cups · Filtered Water
1 Cup · Jasmine Flowers (fresh or dried)
1 Drop - Vanilla extract for warmth (Optional)
For the Drink
150ml · Freshly Boiled Water
50ml · Whole Cow's Milk
10ml · Jasmine Syrup
1 · Earl Grey tea bag
Rose Petals (to garnish)
Method
You only need 10ml per drink, so this batch goes a long way.
1. Combine cane sugar and water in a saucepan and bring to the boil until the sugal has dissolved.
2. Add jasmine flowers and steep for 5–10 minutes.
3. Strain and cool. Store in a sealed bottle in the fridge.
To make the drink:
1. Brew the Earl Grey tea bag in 150ml freshly boiled water for 5 minutes.
2. While the tea steeps, warm the milk and stir in 10ml jasmine syrup.
3. Froth the jasmine milk until light and fluffy.
4. Pour the brewed tea into a delicate glass mug.
5. Top with the frothed jasmine milk.
6. Garnish with rose petals.
For the perfect mix around 70% tea to 30% milk
