1 Litre · Hot water

12 · Basil Leaves

1/2 · Apple

3 · Figs

Method

1. Pour 1 litre of freshly boiled water into a heat-resistant pitcher. Allow 4 teabags to infuse for 5-8 minutes, then remove.

2. Add in the basil, apple, and figs, and stir to combine.

3. Allow to cool, cover, and refrigerate for later or overnight.

4. When ready to serve, fetch from the fridge and remove all of the ingredients!

5. When ready to serve, remove the fig, basil, and apple.

If enjoying all to yourself, add the chilled infused tea into a water bottle with 4 apple slices, 3-5 basil leaves, and 3-5 fig slices.

If sharing with friends, pour into a jug filled 3/4 with cubed ice and add the other ½ of the apple cut into slices, and 10 basil leaves, and 2 figs cut into quarters. Stir well and serve in goblet glasses over cubed ice. Garnish with a fresh basil sprig.

Personal serve - Add the chilled infused tea into a water bottle with 4 apple slices, 3-5 basil leaves, and 3-5 fig slices.
