Spicy Masala Chai Latte
A mixture of fragrant and warming spices, with delicious Spicy Chai tea and sweet milk combine to make this comforting and cosy blend.

Ingredients
200ml · Water
2 · Twinings Spicy Chai Tea Bags
2 tsp · Honey
300ml · Dairy-Free Milk (we used oat milk)
6 · Cardomom Pods
1 tsp · Fennel Seeds
4 · Cloves
2 cm · Fresh Ginger
2 tbsp · Honey
Cinnamon (to garnish)
Star Anise (to garnish)
Method
- Infuse 200ml boiling water with the Twinings Spicy Chai tea bags.
- Leave to brew for 2-3 minutes.
- In a pestle and mortar, crush the fennel seeds, cardamom, cloves, and ginger until you have a rough paste.
- Add the spices and 200ml of the milk to a saucepan and add the brewed tea.
- Let simmer until the milk is warmed through and gently stir.
- Strain the milky tea in a sieve to remove all the spices.
- In a milk frother, froth the remaining 100ml of milk till it’s thick and frothy.
- Pour the tea into two small mugs and top with the frothy milk.
- Garnish with a sprinkling of cinnamon and a star anise.
