Lapsang Souchong 125g Loose Leaf Tea
Loose leaf black tea.
This renowned variety of tea is produced in the famous Wuyi mountains of Fujian Province in South East China. This World Heritage Site is a subtropical land of winding rivers and soaring, spectacular cliffs.
At the end of the production process, involving pan-firing, rolling, oxidising and a second firing and rolling, the leaves are dried over pine wood fires. The result is a richly flavoured black tea with a red liquor and smoky, camp fire notes. Reputedly, this was Winston Churchill's favourite tea!
