Autumn Serves

There’s something about autumn that slows everything down and levels it up at the same time. Softer lighting, hearty soups, chunky knitwear, pumpkin-spiced everything. And, as the nights stretch out, the meals get slower and staying in is the only plan you’ll make.

Welcome to our Autumn Supper Club, a celebration of slow dinners and good company. A chance to go hard on the slow and soft of the season. Where the mood is low-lit, the drinks are full of sparkle, and conversations stretch on long after the plates are cleared.

Because creating the right blend for your evening is an art form, a recipe in itself. A mix of flavours, feelings, and flow. From the tablescape to the tea serves, these are the kinds of nights that fill more than your plate. The ones where everyone leaves grounded, content, and quietly inspired to host their own.

So, if you’re ready to master the art of the cosy, candlelit supper, with all the effort saved for your enjoyment too, then we’ve got you.

Welcome drinks

Their evening starts right here, with the first pour.

Your arrival drink sets the tone, so make it one to remember. We’re giving fizz a fresh twist, think drinks that look the part, taste incredible, and leave you feeling refreshed and revitalised, not frazzled!

Non-alcoholic doesn’t mean underwhelming - it’s all in the serve. Maybe it’s a clean tonic, a chilled iced tea, or our Refresh Sparkling Tea, cool, crisp, and quietly confident. Keep it light, botanical, and beautiful. Pour into a coupe or flute, add a garnish (maybe two), and don’t be afraid to give it a full moment with a tray or some sideboard action.

Or, set up a mini DIY sparkle bar and let guests build their own creations. Think citrus slices, fresh herbs, and fancy ice cubes that look like they belong in a cocktail book.

This is how you say 'welcome' in drink form.

Set the scene

Hosting isn’t about having the Pinterest-perfect home, it’s about personality. Making the most of the space and the season you’re in. And thankfully, autumn does half the styling for you.

Start with your table, the centre of it all. Create a tablescape that feels fitting, not forced. The lighting’s already on your side: candles, side lamps, maybe a string of fairy lights snaking through the centre. Softer, warmer, cosier, that’s the brief.

Layer it up. A tablecloth, if you fancy. Maybe it’s your best dinner set, or maybe it’s mismatched crockery that has a story behind it. Add tiny bud vases filled with foraged twigs, herbs, or a few seasonal blooms, one bouquet goes a long way when you break it up. Scatter a few small pumpkins, dried leaves, or petals for that “effortlessly curated” look

Feeling extra? Handwrite mini menus or place cards, it’s old-school charm with main character energy.

And don’t forget the soundtrack. Pick a playlist that sets the pace in the background, mellow and soulful, with a slow tempo that lets conversation do all the talking.

Scent matters, too. Don’t just rely on your cooking (especially if it can be a little unpredictable!). Light one scented candle (not three competing ones) or let a pan of cinnamon sticks, cloves, and orange peel quietly simmer on the stove and do the work. It’s the scent of the season, of comfort and warmth.

Dessert Switch

And for afters? Let’s swap the traditional dessert for something slower, softer, a new post-dinner ritual worth lingering over, perhaps? Trade your spoon for a cup that really delivers a sweet hit with the Butter Pecan Chai Latte.

This is chai, but elevated. Inspired by the ancient spice routes of the Silk Road, it’s rich and aromatic. Cinnamon for warmth and depth, cardamom for calm, and cloves for that aroma and touch of spice. Complex? Maybe. Comforting? Always.

It’s a warming blend of chai and buttered pecan almond milk, infused with maple syrup, cardamom, star anise, and cinnamon. A dessert in drink form that tastes like comfort and good conversation. Serve it in an earthen ceramic mug (the kind that feels just right in your hands and retains all the heat), dusted with black cocoa and a touch of edible gold sugar, if you’re feeling extra. Or served with some sugared almonds or dark chocolate for that extra indulgence.

It’s the serve that proves dessert doesn’t have to be plated. It can be poured, savoured, and lingered over.

After Dinner Moments

No well-meaning dinner party,  or supper club, for that matter, is complete without its after-dinner moment. Forget the espresso martini or that late-night black coffee that guarantees zero sleep. This is the thoughtful nightcap, the one that shows you care about your guests’ wind-down routine as much as their meal.

Try the Jasmine-Infused Earl Grey (made with decaf, naturally). Fragrant, floral, and soothing, it’s Earl Grey tea topped with frothed jasmine-infused milk and finished with rose petals. It almost feels like a wind-down ritual. Serve with buttery shortbread or a square of dark chocolate, and always, always in your favourite china.

It’s the gentlest kind of statement as the evening draws to a close. No crash, no caffeine buzz,  just a slow nod to a restful and peaceful night’s sleep. The perfect parting gift for your guests.

Planning the perfect supper

Want to know the secret to hosting a great evening? Don’t overthink it,  and don’t overdo it. The best evenings flow when you don’t try too hard.  They don’t require you to spend the night chained to the oven or breaking a light sweat every time the timer pings. Plan, prep, and then let it go. Nobody remembers if the napkins matched or if the roast potatoes were a little too crisp. They remember how it felt.

Start by planning a menu that looks impressive but keeps the work light. Choose dishes you can prep ahead, the kind that quietly take care of themselves, leaving you to actually enjoy your own dinner party. And when it comes to ingredients, lean into the season. Autumn does flavour best with earthy, root vegetables perfect for delicious stews. Think one-pan wonders, slow-cooked mains, sharing platters, food that feels generous, not fussy.

Set the tone, set the table, and set the tempo. Because the perfect autumn supper isn’t about perfection, it’s about creating an energy. That effortless space where food, light, and laughter meet, and everyone leaves feeling full in more ways than one.
